Astonishing facts about lice




Lice are living parasites which lives on the blood of human. Apart from asking How to kill lice or best hair licetreatment people must know some amazing facts about these parasites.  Lice are harmless parasites. They spread very fast; a female louse can lay 6 eggs per day. Lice mostly choose the neat head as their pray. Lice grow in three stages nit to nymph and big louse. Lice eggs (nits) are attached on the hair shafts. Nits are so small that we hardly saw them because it looks like dandruff or shampoo residue. Lice are found in different colours from yellow to black. It takes a week to convert into a baby louse which is called nymph and after one more week that nymph converts itself into big louse. Big louse is similar to sesame seed. It lives on human blood and need blood 5 to 6 times in a day. Louse can live up to 30 days on human head. Lice can’t fly or jump. Lice have claws by those claws they cling onto hair. They won’t live on clothing or rugs so don’t need to panic and don’t need to wash your curtains or carpet.
